Not all, but quit a few teachers do not care. For the past 3 years my child has been attending this school, I have yet seen the Principal attend award ceremonies or make herself known. In fact I thought Mr. Myers was the Principal. He was the only one walking the halls, interacting with people, attending award ceremonies, making parent calls, etc.. There is a reason why this is a low rated school. There is no teamwork here.

I am looking for a new school after a year of a teacher that didn't seem to care about my child being bullied. I could not get her to let me know about school work and most of my emails went unanswered. I finally found out that I could have testing done to see if my child had a learning disability but it was too late in the year to complete it. Her doctor diagnosed her with ADHD at the end of the school year. The final slap in the face was when her teacher handed out awards and gave her one for daydreaming! How insensitive of her. There are some nice people working at the school but if you are bullied it is just par for the course.

As a parent, I am really excited about the Dual Language Program. The teachers are wonderful. My son is very happy to be a part of such an awesome school. I've never seen him so excited. The staff is great. They are very friendly and eager to help. Principal Delpit, you rock!! Keep up the great job!

We have three children. They have attended other area schools and Groveled has exceeded all the others in curriculum and teacher quality. I have been very pleased.

We have been fortunate enough to have the same teacher for our son in Pre-K and Kindergarten. This teacher is excellent and has gone above and beyond what is expected of any teacher. Our son has excelled and we have loved our time at Groveland, unfortunately we have been zoned for a new school and may have to leave Groveland.

I had a wonderful conversation with the Principal, Mr. Delpit, yesterday. He was honest and open with me, validating my concerns. I have a kindergartener at Groveland this year and we have been very happy there. My son and I really like Groveland Elementary.

Groveland Elem.can be compared to any private because it's just that great. The programs that they have keeps all the kids challenged. The teachers are superb. The administrators are always noticeable on campus. They are avail. to anyone that needs them. Parent involvement is starting to be more noticeable this year. The school is working really hard in making it always welcoming for the parents. Overall this school is and A++ in our book. I highly recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a public school with a private school atmosphere. A high quality school.

I feel Groveland Elementary is a very good school. I feel that the staff is excellent. My daughters kindergarden teacher went above and beyond as did Ms. Barr!(great teacher) It does have it's challenges but, I feel the staff addresses any challenges quickly. Overall, it's a loving school community. Could use more parent involvement! My son is there now in Pre-k and we are having a great school year so far!

I am very pleased with Groveland Elementary. My oldest daughter has been there since KG and will be starting 3rd grade this year (she loves it there). As with any school the most important thing is how involved are you as a parent in your childs education, and I think overall that Groveland is a very good school with a good curriculum.

Have not really had a problem with the quality of academic programs. Don't really see any extracurricular activities or part involvement. Do have issues with the v.p. and few of the teachers. No problem with the guidance counsilor. She is very helpful.

My son is in Kindergarten this year and I am very disappointed with the communication level and the lack of parental respect. I expect to be kept informed of his progress or areas of improvement and I don't think what they do is sufficient. I'm looking for another school next year.

Dedicated staff members. Excellent leadership from a top notch principal and an assistant principal who goes above and beyond what is expected of her.
